I'll admit it, I'm an Instagram whore and 'Selfie' is my middle name,
so you better believe I know my photo apps like the back of my hand.
The most common question I get is "How do you get those bubbles on your picture?"
Well, sit tight because I'm about to give you the 411.

First up: Instagram
Let's be honest, if you don't have this app installed on your iPhone or Android phone..who are you?
It comes packed with pretty neat filters to make your regular pictures look all sorts of artsy.
Like this crazy looking latte.....

Next: Camera+
I love this app for lots of reasons, but mainly because it's easy to use and it's got a set timer which makes selfies a whole lot easier!

PicFrame:
This app is perfect for making photo collages.
You can add up to 9 pictures in one and add special effects.

Picfx:
The "bubble" app. This is my favorite.
The effects and filters are amazing and all you do is snap {or upload a picture from your camera roll} and send it directly to instagram.
Make your pictures go from this:

To this:

I hope this finally clears up any questions you have as far as what apps I use for editing my pictures.
Good night y'all!

Favorite Products I Can't Do Without

I'm not a beauty expert by any means, and this post is not at all a list of fancy shmancy products that you should all run out and buy, however they are my favorites..so listen up!

1. ChapStick: I think that throughout the years, no matter what, I will always stay loyal to this little baby in Classic Strawberry, of course. I've tried other products along the way, but nothing satisfies me quite like this product. Runners up include: Smith's Rosebud Salve & C.O. Bigelow {Balm Stick}

2. Organix: I usually switch my shampoo and conditioner every few months, but I tend to stay within the Organix products. Lately, I have been using Acai Berry as my shampoo and the Awapuhi Ginger as my main conditioner. Most of their products are sulfate free and gluten free, if you're into that. They also carry some pretty cool products including instant recovery masks, blow dry creams {which I love}, & another favorite, the Sea Salt Spray.

3. St. Ives Apricot Scrub: I have been a loyal user of this product for years and it still amazes me. It's texture is perfect for my sensitive skin and the price can't be beat.

 4. The Colossal Volum Express: I'm not super fancy when it comes to my makeup routine and my products are pretty simple. In the past, I've tried several mascaras and have always been left with clumpy lashes, but ever since my first use, this Maybelline invention has worked wonders on me.

5. Rose & Oud by Henri Bendel: This is a total splurge for me, but this is an all time favorite scent. It's my winter, spring, fall, and summer scent, and I absolutely love it. It's light and sweet, without being overbearing. It runs for about $65.00 at any Bendel's and it's highly recommended by yours truly! Enjoy!

So there you have it, my favorite-beauty-products list!

Afternoon Delights

Here I am in a soccer jersey {courtesy of Bobby} laying in bed on a Sunday afternoon.
I should really get up and move around but......nah.
I somehow got sucked into watching 3 back to back episodes of Shahs of Sunset on Bravo and found it a little endearing. They're not that bad. I feel like if I have to say 'that' bad, it means they actually are awful. But it's all a little funny. Their lifestyle is extravagant, loud, and extremely family oriented..which is nice.
Okay, enough of Shahs and back to my lazy Sunday.
I woke up and had a huge cup of well deserved coffee along with an even bigger bowl of grapes and cheese. Somewhere along the way I also indulged in some Toblerone, a couple m&ms, and some left over chocolate covered strawberries from last night. Oh yeah, last night was my best friend's 21st birthday party.
Take a look:

So yeah, that's that.
And just when I thought I was finally going to get up from this bed and start my Sunday, my dad made me a huge bowl of fettuccine. I'm staying here. At least until I have to really get up and go to the bar.
Cheers!

Let's All Giggle About This...Shall We?

So, I told you all about my LDR and how much I love my boyfriend. Well........
He's been taking little snap shots of me and posting them on his little social networks.
That little freak.
But, I'm not embarrassed, I'll share with you. Look:

He's technically in so much trouble.
Okay, this has been a post. A late night post. Good night!

Happy Birthday (Well...Almost)

I can not believe this. My best friend of almost 19 years is turning 21 this weekend {Sunday to be exact}. She has been my best friend, my partner in crime, and the little sister I never had. Although she's a year younger, she always managed to take care of me. The one to always make me breakfast at our sleepovers, the one to always try something first {the guinea pig} in all of our adventures. The fearless one. Throughout the years we have experienced plenty of bruised knees and one too many broken hearts, and I wouldn't want this with anyone else but her.

So I raise my glass to you, my dear friend. May this weekend bring you all the happiness in the world.
I love you to the moon and back

Detailed About Me

I won't lie: THIS IS NOT MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT THIS
But I will try my best to not abandon you, you little blog of mine.
Let me talk about myself for a little.
I'm a Jersey girl
{Go ahead...giggle about it}
I'm a proud Yankee and NY Rangers fan.

I'm a part time lover and a part time friend.
I spend way too much time on the internet and as a reward for being a dedicated blogger {at least that's how I view it haha}, God blessed me with a boyfriend. Yes, that's right, I met my boyfriend via my Tumblr page.
Meet Bobby
Pretty cute, huh :)
We're long distance but we make it work, and you better believe I instagram the shit out of us when we're together. See:

Let's see what else can I say?
I'm obsessed with french fries, I live for long summer days spend by the water, and anything NYC related is a friend of mine.
I "cooler crush" which is basically throwing some paint on a cooler. It's pretty neat.
I'm sarcastic, but I'm also pretty sensitive..which makes for some awkward moments.

I don't know where else to go from here.
So please, leave your stilettos by the door, and join on me on this adventure.
